Once again we participated in the BSP tag tournaments which have become a popular fixture in our school sporting calendar.
It was the turn for the Year 5 pupils on Thursday 8th June (accompanied by Mrs Wilson) to take part in what is now the biggest event organised by BSP with over 12 schools taking part.
Due to a new ruling by the RFU, this can longer be a competitive event but this did not diminish the excitement and level of play from the children.
On Thursday 15th June, it was the turn of the Year 4 pupils accompanied by Mrs Tozer. This is what Mrs Tozer said about the afternoon’s events:
We played three teams, Twickenham, Murrayfield and Millenium and each team won all of their matches. I can not emphasise enough how great all the children were and how much we all enjoyed the sense of camaraderie and sporting endeavour. They played well and to the best of each child’s potential. Obviously it was great to win but the friendly nature of the festival meant that hopefully everyone enjoyed it as much as we did. It was good to see two of our ‘old boys’ there refereeing (Freddie and Luke ).
